  • Nicky McCreary  - Lead Pastor  


    Originally from Alabama (Roll Tide!), Nicky has been serving churches in Georgia since 1997. He has been in ministry since 1978, with most of those years being in Youth Ministry, including being the EHBC Youth Pastor from 2010-2020 before transitioning to Lead Pastor. He has also served churches in Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the University of North Alabama. Nicky enjoys too many sports, especially golf & hunting, and keeping his 1984 Jeep CJ7 running. His vision for EHBC is that we exist to be a life-changing church. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is who changes our lives; therefore, everything we do is about pointing people to Jesus. He is married to Amanda and they have two daughters and four grandchildren which has now become their favorite way to spend their free time.

  • Julian Ward - Senior Adults Pastor 

    Julian was called as Interim Pastor at EHBC in January 2008 and again in 2019. He continues to serve in ministry to Sr. Adults and provides worship leadership for our Traditional Service on Sunday mornings. Julian is a native of Georgia and is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His many years of ministry experience includes both full-time and bi-vocational callings to five churches. He and wife, June, have three grown children and three grandchildren.

  • Tim Anderson Sr.- Pastoral Care 


    Along with his wife Pam and son Tim, Jr., Tim Anderson began attending EHBC in 2009 and soon after joined the Media Ministry Team, serving with them faithfully for many years. Presently, Tim serves as both Leader and Sponsor in our Celebrate Recovery program, through which he ministers to people recovering from trauma, addictions, family issues, and many other spiritual needs. Tim was ordained into deacon ministry in 2015 and in 2017 accepted the call to pastoral ministry. He subsequently graduated from Saint James College and Seminary as a Certified Public Chaplain in 2017. Tim was ordained as a Pastor at EHBC in 2018 and currently serves as Pastoral Care Minister, assisting the Pastoral staff with administration duties and hospital/shut-in visitations.

  • Brad Waits - Interim Youth Ministry Director

    Brad was called as Interim Youth Ministry Director at EHBC in January, 2020. Brad and Grace, along with their 4 children, have been serving in the EHBC Youth Ministry since joining in 2016. Brad is a Middle School teacher in Screven County and a life-long leader with teenagers in several churches. His responsibilities will include coordinating all aspects of our current youth ministry program, including the 40+ youth ministry volunteers, until a full-time person is selected by the church. EHBC is blessed to have such capable leadership during this time. Brad can be reached @ bwaits01@gmail.com.

  • Kim Freeman  - Interim Children's Ministry Director


    Kim is no stranger to EHBC. For the past 30 years Kim has attended and served in many positions alongside her husband Tim. They have three children and one grandson. Kim has served in the nursery, taught The Toddler Sunday School class with her husband Tim for many years, worked in Cubbies, served on the nursery team, children’s team, directed VBS, the annual fall festival. In youth she has served as the youth trip coordinator, special events coordinator, on the Youth leadership team and has worked directly with our youth for the past 15 years. Kim graduated from Georgia Southern University where she majored in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. She is so excited to serve as the Children’s Interim and looks forward to seeing the precious children of EHBC GROW with God. James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift comes from above.

  • Justin McGuire - Worship Leader

    Justin McGuire is a worship leader from Sylvania, Georgia. He is twenty-four, and has experience working and volunteering at several churches, mainly in worship ministry. He has also had the opportunity to work as a contract worship leader for Impact Summer Camp, which is held in Toccoa, Georgia at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center each year. Justin graduated from Statesboro High School and is currently working toward a B.S. in Worship Studies at Liberty University as an online student.

  • Tyler Frawley - Production / Media Associate


    Tyler is a student at Georgia Southern University Majoring in Management and with minor in Marketing. A native of Statesboro, Tyler has attended Eastern Heights since birth and has been serving on our media and production team for the past six years.

  • Tracey Radney - Secretary


    Tracey began her service as Church Secretary at EHBC in March of 2006. She was born & raised in Wisconsin, saved at an early age, and has had the joy of seeing God move in many churches in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Georgia, before God called her to unite with EHBC, where she is excited to see God working. Tracey attends Guido Bible College and leads the JESUS ROCKS Ministry, a community outreach mission. Tracey and her husband, Lee, have three sons, a daughter, and five grandchildren.

  • Brad Bennett - Facilities Manager

    Brad and Beth have been married 22 years and have one daughter, Elizabeth. Brad has been working with Eastern Heights Baptist Church since 2016.

  • Maddie Donnelly - Children's Ministry Intern

    My name is Madeline Donnelly. I was born in Florida and my parents and I moved to Georgia my sophomore year of high school. I am studying Secondary Education with a concentration in History at Georgia Southern University. As the Children’s Ministry intern, I just want to let the children know who God is and about the wonderful things He has blessed us with.
