WE EXIST TO BE A

LIFE-CHANGING CHURCH

We offer 2 unique services that take place SIMULTANEOUSLY at 10:30 A.M. One is Contemporary with a praise band and the other is Traditional with hymns. The Lead Pastor, Nicky, speaks IN PERSON at both services. Our saying is "if you like it - we probably have it!"

He has been in ministry since 1978, with most of those years being in Youth Ministry, including being the EHBC Youth Pastor from 2010-2020 before transitioning to Lead Pastor. He has also served churches in Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the University of North Alabama. He is married to Amanda and they have two daughters and four grandchildren which has now become their favorite way to spend their free time. His vision for EHBC is that we exist to be a life-changing church. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is what changes our lives and our goal is to provide opportunities to encounter Him.

  • Nathan Jones - Youth Pastor

Nathan is from Hoschton, GA and is engaged to Sarah Brown from Milledgeville, Ga. He felt called to Youth Ministry 3 years ago while serving with grades 6-12 in north Georgia and loves their energy and excitement for Christ. He joined the EHBC leadership team in November of 2023 and is currently enrolled at Liberty University to complete his Bachelor of Science in Applied Ministry. He is passionate about educating students in their faith so that their relationship with Jesus can have a foundation rooted in scripture and trust in His character while doing so in fellowship and communion with students their own age. His hope for the students of Eastern Heights is to fan a flame in their hearts to dive deeper into their faith and want to tell others about the gospel of Jesus.
